The 1872 Equal Rights Party’s presidential nominee was Victoria Claflin Woodhull, the first woman candidate for President of the United States.  American women at that time did not have the right to vote and Mrs. Woodhull was actually 1 year younger than the Constitutionally-mandated age of 35 when she ran for the office.  According to ushistory.org:

"A fascinating personality, Woodhull was a clairvoyant, spiritualist, advocate of free love, social reformer, newspaper publisher and the first female stockbroker. Of course, she couldn't vote and the party was not permitted on any ballot."
