According to a July 12, 2007 Memorandum to Designated Agency Ethics Officials (DAEOs) from the Associate Director for Education:
"The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) has developed a series of ethics crossword puzzles to enhance your ethics training for executive branch employees. OGE will release a total of five employee crossword puzzles on a variety of ethics topics. The first puzzle, on misuse of position, is now available."
The Office of Government Ethics (OGE), was established by the Ethics in Government Act of 1978as part of the Office of Personnel Management. The Office of Government Ethics Reauthorization Act of 1988 made OGE a separate agency effective October 1, 1989.
