The United States first hosted the Olympic Games -- the 3rd Olympiad, in 1904 -- in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then, the U.S. has hosted the Games multiple times, with two U.S. cities (Los Angeles and Lake Placid, NY) having hosted the Olympic Games twice.
