CFIF Launches Public Education Effort in Pennsylvania

Television Ads Address Critical Judicial and Crime-Related Issues

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Center for Individual Freedom (CFIF) today launched a public education effort in Pennsylvania designed to inform the public about important judicial issues in the state.

Among other things, the public education effort includes a television ad that praises judicial decisions that are tough on violent criminals and adhere to established law and precedent. The ad can be viewed below.

"Our public education effort in Pennsylvania builds on CFIF's ongoing efforts to educate the public about important judicial and crime-related issues, and the legal decisions that steer public policy in those areas," said CFIF President Jeffrey Mazzella.  "In addition to educating the public, our television ad encourages the citizens of Pennsylvania to thank officials who follow sound policies related to the issues addressed."

CFIF is a constitutional advocacy organization with more than 250,000 supporters and activists nationwide, including approximately 15,000 in Pennsylvania.  Since 1998, the organization has been active with its efforts to educate the public on a wide range of judicial and crime-related issues at the federal, state and local levels.

"The issues addressed in this public education effort are integral to our mission as an organization that actively seeks to focus public, legislative and judicial attention on the rule of law as embodied in the federal and state constitutions," continued Mazzella.  "With this effort, it is our hope that Pennsylvanians will become better informed on the issues that are of great concern to so many of the state's citizens," Mazzella concluded.
