Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) is known as one of the most effective conservative leaders in Washington, D.C. He has been a tireless advocate for smaller government, individual liberty, a strong national defense and traditional values.
He is also co-author of a recently released book titled “Why We Whisper: Restoring Our Right to Say It’s Wrong.” Together with J. David Woodard, Senator DeMint chronicles what has happened over the last fifty years to cause such a drastic change in young people’s opinions of marriage and social responsibility and what we need to do to decrease the great cultural divide that exists in our country.
Recently, Senator DeMint joined CFIF Corporate Counsel & Senior Vice President Renee Giachino to discuss his new book, the economic effects of a culture that devalues the traditional family unit, and the work he is doing in the U.S. Senate to advance conservative legislation.
