ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Center for Individual Freedom this week launched a public education effort in Mississippi intended to educate the public about important judicial and crime-related issues in the state.

The effort includes a television ad that discusses the important role the judicial branch and the rule of law play in keeping Mississippi families safe from dangerous criminals.  Specifically, the ad highlights the judicial decision-making of state Supreme Court Justice Jim Kitchens and the legal loopholes he supported in certain cases dealing with sexual predators and murderers. The ad concludes by urging viewers to call Judge Kitchens and tell him to stop trying to use legal loopholes to side with predators and to stand up for victims.

The ad can be viewed below.

CFIF is a constitutional advocacy organization with more than 250,000 supporters and activists nationwide. Since 1998, the organization has actively sought to educate the public on a wide range of judicial and crime-related issues at the federal, state and local levels.
