The strong support of his legal colleagues, from both sides of the political spectrum, helps demonstrate the Judge Roberts is an outstanding mainstream conservative Bipartisan Group of Lawyers Backs Roberts

As the Senate considered John Roberts' nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, a bi-partisan group of more than 150 lawyers announced their strong support for his confirmation. The list included Lloyd Cutler, former White House Counsel for Presidents Carter and Clinton, and Seth Waxman, former Solicitor General for President Clinton. Other signatories included C. Boyden Gray and George Terwilliger, both former White House Counsels for President George H.W. Bush.

With his nomination to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, the strong support of his legal colleagues, from both sides of the political spectrum, helps demonstrate the Judge Roberts is an outstanding mainstream conservative who be an excellent High Court justice.
