"But the FBI has quietly revised those numbers, releasing new data that shows violent crime increased in 2022 by 4.5%. The new data includes thousands more murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults.

"The Bureau -- which has been at the center of partisan storms -- made no mention of these revisions in its September 2024 press release.

"RCI discovered the change through a cryptic reference on the FBI website that states: 'The 2022 violent crime rate has been updated for inclusion in CIUS, 2023.' But there is no mention that the numbers increased. One only sees the change by downloading the FBI's new crime data and comparing it to the file released last year."

"The cover-up began on Monday shortly after the Manhattan Institute's Christopher Rufo reported findings by Austrian 'plagiarism hunter' Stefan Weber, who purportedly discovered that a 2009 book co-authored by Harris and Joan O'C. Hamilton contains passages seemingly lifted from various other published works and websites. The book is titled Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor's Plan to Make Us Safer."

"Consumers specifically paid more for food at home (1.3 percent), food away from home (3.9 percent), electricity (3.7 percent), shelter (4.9 percent), and transportation (8.5 percent) last month than they did the year prior. Overall, essential goods and services are more than 20 percent more expensive now than they were when President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took office in January 2021."

From television interviews to radio programs to podcasts, the appointed Democratic nominee for president has decided to stop hiding from interviews after early voting has started in the country and with less than a month until Election Day. Yet one thing has remained consistent in her campaign: She continues to ignore, deceive, and lie about her horrific political record -- especially on border security and immigration.

By every available metric and analysis of Harris's record on immigration since she has been vice president and border czar, it is abundantly clear she has a horrible record on border security and illegal immigration. She knows it, and everyone knows it, but it doesn't prevent her from lying about her failures -- and she often does so in stunningly incoherent fashion.

"The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated over $1 billion for a migrant assistance program over the past two fiscal years, but now it is running out of cash for disaster relief as Hurricane Helene rages on and more storms loom.

"Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Wednesday that FEMA does not have enough funds to make it through hurricane season, The Associated Press reported. Though resources are running short for Americans displaced by Helene, the agency spent big on a program providing 'humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants' after their release from Department of Homeland Security custody."

"Vice President Kamala Harris is struggling to maintain support among the key voting blocs of the Democratic coalition as polling data suggests that former President Donald Trump's efforts to win over minority voters are succeeding to some degree.
