So-Called "Railway Safety Act" Constitutes a Political Handout to Big Labor That Does Nothing to Improve Safety At All
America as we know it was built largely upon and because of our rail industry, and today it remains a pillar of our economy.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – As part of its ongoing State Sovereignty Project, the Center for Individual Freedom (“CFIF”) today released a new TV ad in West Virginia that urges Attorney General Darrell McGraw to stand up for West Virginians against Washington’s War on Coal.
The new ad, titled “Crushing” and which can be viewed below, is the second in a series of CFIF ads in the state and part of a nearly $1.6 million expenditure announced by CFIF earlier this month.
“Washington’s War on Coal threatens the livelihoods of thousands of West Virginia families and the bedrock of the state’s economy,” said CFIF President Jeffrey Mazzella. “It’s time for Attorney General McGraw to get off his hands and use his authority to fight back against Washington’s destructive overreach.”
Founded in 1998, CFIF is a constitutional and free market advocacy organization with more than 250,000 activists and supporters nationwide. CFIF’s State Sovereignty Project was launched earlier this year to encourage governmental authorities closest to the people to reclaim and exercise the structural powers granted to them by the U.S. Constitution as a bulwark against federal encroachments on state sovereignty and erosion of the individual liberties of the people they serve.
